Your mountain walking experience prior to attending a training course should include 20 quality mountain days. These quality days should take the following into consideration; The exploration of new areas, the terrain covered and the physical and mental challenge. Your quality day should include a journey of over 5 hours, major planning and leadership contributions and navigational elements away off the beaten track.
